- March 16, 2010"65.183.138.215 and the Acorns playgroup was a perfect way for me to transition in to the community. We met some great families and the school was so welcoming. I particulary like this playgroup as opposed to some of the very informal groups I have gone to because it is a little more structured. The first 2025 minutes are spent observing the childrenminimal to no chatter amongst the parents and very little interaction with your child. It is a time to really watch and learn. I think I might have learned more through this program than my now 13 month old. It allowed me to see the true independent spirit that was developing in my daughterand then I got a chance to discuss my observations with the group after 510 minutes of singing. There was time at the end for tea and pastries and this is when I really got to know some of the other parents. Definitely a great playgroup if you are looking for more than just the typical get your kids together."- vkennedy
