Community Sailing Center Kids Camps
Summer is all about fun, friends, and trying something new! The Community Sailing Center offers summer camps for youth ages 6-17 to learn the joy and skills of sailing on Lake Champlain. Led by certified-instructors and placing safety at the forefront, they offer a wide variety of sailing camps, from sailing-only to multi-activity camps (which blend sailing and an activity or hobby).

Vermont Commons School Summer Camps
Modeled after Vermont Commons School's signature Encounter Week program and designed for children ages 8-11, VSC's summer day camps give campers an opportunity to explore their interests, learn new skills, make new friends, and have a blast! Each themed week-long session will have hands-on, project-based activities along with plenty of summertime fun and games. Sessions for Summer 2026 will include ceramics and 3D art, combining culinary experimentation with creative writing to create a food magazine, designing chain reaction machines and cardboard arcade games, exploring the woods and studying the nature of Vermont, and more!

ONE Arts Center Summer Camps
Summer Camps at the ONE Arts Center are focused on fun and all the different ways an artist can express themselves. This Summer they are offering Camps in the Maker Space for 5-8 year olds and in the Creative Space for 9-13 year olds. Every week of summer vacation they offer different themed summer camps that embrace magic, imagination and self expression. Camp Downer
Nestled in the heart of Sharon, VT, Camp Downer is a place where adventure, friendship, and lifelong memories come to life! For over 80 years, they’ve provided an unforgettable and affordable overnight camp experience. With six one-week sessions and one two-week session each summer, Camp Downer welcomes campers of all genders, ages 8 to 16. Whether they’re making a splash in the aquatics programs, testing their skills in archery and riflery, making a goal in soccer, exploring nature, or expressing their creativity, every day is packed with fun and personal growth.

Ninja STEAM Camp
ONTA Martial Arts' Ninja STEAM Camp combines martial arts, tumbling, and parkour with environmental science and art education. The STEAM based curriculum combines hands-on science projects with arts and crafts, plus wrestling and Jiu-Jitsu, taught with a kid friendly games-based methodology. They’ll learn Karate (including breaking boards), practice real sword fighting (with foam swords), and master moves from classical martial arts styles. And they’ll even dip into ONTA's very own (kid-friendly) Kung Fu movie library!

Greater Burlington YMCA Camps
From full-day, co-ed day camps, to historic day and overnight camp for boys and teens, the Y has great choices for a summer to remember. Registration is open for YMCA Camp Abnaki, and opens on January 26, 2026 for Summer Camp at the Y in BTV, Camp Koda, and Y Adventure Camp at Rock Point.
YMCA Camp Abnaki is the Y’s historic all-boys day (grades K-4) and residential camp (grades 1-10) in North Hero. Summer Camp at the Y is a co-ed camp for kids that have completed K to age 10. Camp Koda in Barre and Georgia is a co-ed summer day camp for kids that have completed K to age 12. The Y Adventure Camp at Rock Point in Burlington is a co-ed summer day camp for kids who have completed 2nd grade through age 13. Campers play outside, unplug, make friends, and enjoy summer!

Sparrow Project Summer Camp
Sparrow Summer Camp is a creative, arts-based day camp where kids build confidence, connection, and joy through art, theater, storytelling, games, and outdoor play. Led by an experienced educator and former nonprofit arts director, campers enjoy small, supportive groups, weekly themes, spirit days, and plenty of free-choice time to explore their creativity. Camp runs July 6–31 (four weekly sessions), 9:00–3:00 in Shelburne, for children entering K–8th grade, with sliding scale options and scholarships available.

Mad River Path Adventures
From the Heart of the Valley, Mad River Path Adventures offers accessible day and overnight adventure camps for students ages 9-15. Our dynamic programs are designed and led by professional guides. Students enjoy adventure sports and the art of wilderness living while developing close connections to nature and the social skills for thriving in an interconnected community. They believe that outdoor pursuits should be a part of every Vermonter’s experience and teach the know-how that often translates into a lifelong love of adventure and discovery in Vermont's special backyard.

LyricKids Summer Camps 2026
Step into the spotlight this summer with LyricKids - Lyric Theatre Company's Summer Camp! Campers will build confidence, teamwork, and theatrical skills while rehearsing and performing a full musical production. The 2026 sessions include: Annie Kids, July 6-10 and Seussical Kids, July 13-17. Both are for kids 8-12 and are $350 for the week. A third session for teens 13-16 will rehearse and perform 13 Jr. over a two week period, July 20-31 ($600).

Petra Cliffs Camps
Petra Cliffs Climbing Center offers SUMMAT (Summer Mountain Adventure Training) Day Camps for kids 6 to 14, and Overnight Expeditions for kids 10 and up. SUMMAT camps will have your kids climbing, kayaking, caving, and more, all while building self esteem through healthy risk-taking. Overnight expeditions take campers to the mountains of Vermont, New York and New Hampshire for outdoor adventures. Petra Cliffs programs help build confidence and community through climbing, challenge, healthy risk-taking, and fun in the outdoors!

Burlington City Arts
At BCA's award-winning summer camps, students work closely with professional teaching artists for a fun-filled week of in-depth studio arts experience. Come for a half-day, pair a morning and afternoon camp to make a custom full-day experience, or sign up for one of the new ready-paired full-day offerings.
