Allenholm Farm is a seven generation Vermont apple orchard on an island in Lake Champlain! They grow 25 acres of apples. In the summer they harvest raspberries, blueberries, and tart cherries, which can be found at our farm stand. Fall brings apple harvest and Pick-Your-Own apples. Come for a visit and meet their friendly farm animals, treat yourself to a Maple Creemee, and take home one of Papa Ray's mouth watering, homemade pies! They are open daily from late May until Dec 24th.

"We try, every year to make our rounds to all of the local orchards Vermont has to offer. We do enjoy the animals at Allenholm but it is always muddy and I think a lot of the playground is starting to get run down. The apples are delicious and the store has some fun, local stuff!"

"The BEST place in Vermont to pick apples, especially if you have kids. The farmplay yard is the cutest you'll ever see! We love feeding the animals. We go there almost every weekend in the fall. My kids love the tractor ride to the orchard. The maple creemes are awesome too! Ray and Pam Allen are the nicest people you'll ever meet! "

"We visited the Allenholm Orchard when we heard it was the best place for a maple cremee anywhere around and that came from a local! The play yard was so fun to enjoy with the kids, and all of the animals made us feel welcome. Bunnies, donkeys, chickens, Pygmy goats, sheep and even peacocks made the outing truly a fun Vermont standout event for us and we live here! What a treat. It will definitely make it on our list of things to must see, must do. We had out of town guests and loved being able to share such a quintessential Vermont Farm with them."

"Allenholm is our favorite orchard. Our son has a favorite rooster named Reggie that he visits every year. All of the animals are so sweet. The tractor ride is a fun way to get out to the orchard for picking. We usually try to AVOID their apple festivalcraft fair because it is insanely busy. Recommend trying to go on a weekend when it's not going on."

"We stayed at the Allenholm BB a few weeks ago with our 2 year old daughter. It was absolutely wonderful! Our daughter had a wonderful time feeding the animals. The accomodations were amazing. 100 for a lovely bedroom, a huge living room, a walk out patio with amazing views of the orchards and mountains. Breakfast was to die for...apple pie and blueberry pancakes. The owners were super sweet and very accomodating. We already booked another overnight in the fall."

"Great place to visit for everyone. Our children love all the animals, especially Willie and Sassafrass, the donkeys. Wonderful people, great store, great apples and great apple pies. If you go to the Islands you must go to this farm. "
