- June 15, 2009"Recently took to the remodeled Scoop Shop in downtown Burlington with three kids in tow. It isn't cheap, but I just love it and a long line never scares me off because of how fast they get folks through it. It's fun to sit in the window chairs with the kids and just watch everything happening on Church Street. Yum!"- twincoastlove
- June 15, 2009"Stopped in to the newly renovated Church Street Marketplace location with 4 kids on Saturday afternoon during Jazz fest. The shop was overflowing with people patiently waiting their turn. I can only guess that this store is like this most weekend days in warmer weather. Somewhere in the redesign they missed figuring out how to speed up the process of dishing out the highly anticipated frozen goodness, cause lots of kids were melting down in line. Despite the fact that there were many B J workers, each familygroup is assigned one server, so if you have a lot of peeps in your group you could be there a while. Kudos to them though if you have a kid with a nutfood allergy. Not only did they wash the scooper, they opened up a fresh container of the flavor my child wanted in order to take extra care not to contaminate his serving. Be prepared to open up your wallet at the end of this experience. Grand total for 3 kid sized cups with one topping each and a small smoothie 16!"- missmagpie
