Black Flannel Brewing Co. is an Essex VT-based brewpub located next to their sister distillery. Their beer, food, & spirits are made on-site from scratch. With 4 Certified Cicerone®’s and multiple Beer Judges on staff, Black Flannel Brewing and Distilling Companies have a strong commitment to quality. Beer, Spirits, Food, Cocktails - anything they offer to their guests will be a carefully considered and crafted experience.
Their location at the Essex Experience features 40 taps with beers brewed on site and some that are soured and/or aged in our barrel room. They have two great outdoor spaces in their fenced in Biergarten and front Patio. There is a kids menu available as well.

- August 28, 2021"What a great addition to the Essex Experience. Black Flannel is running a huge operation there a restaurant, brewery, and distillery. They have a large dining room, a front patio that serves a full menu while the fencedin Beirgarten has drinks and nibbles and often features live music from local musicians. The menu is filled with small plates and salads as well as charcuterie and Vermont cheese for sharing as well tasty main dishes like the smash burger. They also have an Argentine Wood Fired grill and serve filet mignon, misomarinated tofu, and fish dishes. They work with lots of local farms to source their food. The food was great and we will definitely be back."- missmagpie
