"We love this beach. We always go camping in Groton so with your car tag you can get this beach. They just put in a new playground a few years ago. They really take care of this beach always clean and they have a very friendly staff. My son loves the little snack shake they have and I love the clean bathrooms and changing stations. Worth it!!"

"This is an amazing, tuckedaway gem! We were camping nearby and discovered this amazing beach. It's such a great place for young kids. The water is great sandy bottom, no weeds. It's a goodsized beach for sand play and there's a playground when the kids are ready for a break from the beach. Not to mention there's a small snack bar and convenient picnic area. And you can't beat the views I enjoyed the amazing backdrop of mountains while watching the kids swim. We will definitely go back next summer!"

"We have been swimming hear a couple of times, it's never been overly crowded. We typically stop after we go biking on the bike path. It's nice to have the concession stand and the bathrooms right up close to the beach. Our kids enjoy splashing in the water for hrs."
