"My 9 year old son and I both have had an interest in sailing. However, our experience has been periodic, mostly when on vacations. We came across this class and thought this was a good time to learn some of the fundamentals. Over the course of 4 days, Mark captain of Breakaway and our instructor led us through the basics of sailing with an informed and fun approach. To say the least, we had a blast. Not only is our interest in sailing grown, but we now have the confidence and knowhow to get out on the water by ourselves. The best part is that we are learning together. Mark is an excellent instructor. He's calm, encouraging and gets you into sailing rightaway. His boat is beautiful and fun to sail. Mallets Bay is the perfect spot to learn. Mark even had us competing in some local races. I highly recommend the Learn to Sail program."
