- April 14, 2017"I am looking forward to another summer for my family at BTC. This club is beautiful, friendly, and has all a kid needs in the summer a fantastic tennis program and team, a competitive swim team, recreation programs in both, plus plenty of grass to run around on when kids are not playing tether ball, foosball, ping pong or climbing on the play structure. There's a great snack bar but also a couple of refrigerators and grills so that members can bring and prepare a poolside lunch or dinner to enjoy at one of the many picnic tables. The views of the Green Mountains is incredible from the porch overlooking the clay tennis courts. And there are plenty of options for adults adult tennis programs, paddle tennis, adultonly swim times in the pool, and just a wonderful, social atmosphere."- elzywick

BTC is our home in the summer. My wife, children, and I are there nearly every day. There are obvious attractions a giant pool in the hot summer, the best clay courts within a day's drive, a swim team that will turn a sinker into a swimmer, a quiet oasis in the middle of Burlington. The more subtle benefits, though, are the ones that keep us and our friends coming back namely, the vibe. We speak about it to each other, we hear about it when we survey our members. BTC is a wonderful combination of mellow and exciting with no pretension or formality. There are almost 2 dozen picnic tables distributed around the property, multiple grills and fridges, and a BYOB policy that leads to multiple families meeting for dinner 7 nights a week. Our children make friends and grow socially among kids they don't know from school in a safe, but somewhat unstructured, environment. It's a memberowned, volunteer endeavor...you just show up, hit some balls, take a dip, and watch the sun set over Mt. Mansfield while you enjoy your cold, local beverage with your friends and family. I am writing this review in the middle of March. It's killing me that I have to wait another 810 weeks until we open."- chiphart
