"The course is not much to write about. It's flat, not overly challenging and the bunkers are filled with weeds, not sand. That said, I actually enjoy this course. The staff is friendly, you can play with your kids and not worry about offending anyone, the greens are well cared for and they have a decent driving range. Not a bad place to sneak in 9 holes but I would recommend going elsewhere if you are looking for 18. I would give Catamount 4 stars if they would do something about their bunkers. Families will enjoy Catamount."

"Just wanted to recommend you consider the Catamount Golf Club on Mountain View Road as space for your next birthday, retirement party or event. We just celebrated our daughter's birthday party there last night and can not say enough wonderful things about what they offer. From the planning to the night of big event, Alex, Bob and the wonderful people working there took such good care of us. The food was delicious, the space was beautifully decorated, the DJ was amazing and their organization of the night was superb! It was a wonderful night which we will all remember for many years to come. We were so impressed with the service and overall atmosphere and wholeheartedly recommend them! "

"Sometimes, golf courses can feel exclusive to older golfers or golfers with more experience. Not the case at Catamount CC. I was very comfortable bringing my 8 and 11 year old to the course. It's a relatively short, flat course so it's doable for kids to walk. You never are too far away from the clubhouse if you need to accomodate the emergency bathrooom break. I have heard that it you want to play two rounds of 9holes, it can be problematic during busy times. Instead of just going from the ninth hole back to the first hole, you may have to wait for other groups to tee off first. I was a little surprised that there is not a published discount for children. Though when I inquired, I was offered one. Overall, I think this is a good option to consider for your child who is new to golf or still young and learning."
