"Although there are some perfectly fine places to go apple picking around the Burlington area, for some reason, year after year, we decide to make the 50 minute diver down to Shoreham.. I am not sure if it the stunning lake views while picking or the fact that you can get in your apples and raspberries in the same day, but there is something that is just lovely about Champlain Orchards. And we know that it is a winner with the kids, because they always seem to wait in quite anticipation on the way down. I am not usually one for store bought pies, but Champlain Orchard's apple pie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream is not one to be missed."
