Chapin Farm is open Saturday and Sunday and by appointment. They only have only larger Balsam trees, 10' -12'.

- November 27, 2012"Every year my family sets out to find a Christmas tree that is somewhere between 1722' high. We also love to find one that has been pruned. This is a pretty tall order. This year we decided to check out what Chapin's had to offer. Located at the end of Chapin Road in Essex Junction you will find what appears to be a sparsely populated Christmas Tree farm. But in reality, in my opinion, this farm is just spread out with many well shaped trees. If you are looking for sleigh rides, horse drawn wagons or even a hot chocolate shack, you are not going to find it here. But what they lack in inventory and frills, the make up for in good old fashioned Vermont hospitality. We found our giant, perfectly shaped tree. And after we cut it down, without asking, the owners brought their tractor around to help us lift it on to our truck. A huge help! If they can grown another 18 footer by next year we will be back!"- missmagpie
