For well over 100 years Chapin Farm and Orchard has been a landmark in Essex, VT. Each fall they open their orchards and visitor center to the public from August 30th to November 2nd.
Hours: 7 days a week from 9:30AM - 5:30PM.
They offer pick-your-own apples, a fully stocked retail and visitor center, gift certificates, field trips, wagon rides on weekends, farm animals, cider and donuts, and more.
Directions: located at 150 Chapin Rd in Essex - at the intersection of routes 15 & 128, turn left onto Towers Rd, take your second right onto Chapin Rd, we’re 1.5 miles down on the left

We stop by for their Ginger Golds early in the season and keep on coming for their cider and more after the golds are all gone! They have a great little kids hand's on play space in front... be sure to bring your camera since there are many photo ops among the pumpkin patch, old tractor and morning glory teepee!"- JulieMS
