Cochran's Ski Area

Dubbed the "closest ski area to Burlington", Cochran's goal is provide youth and families with affordable skiing and snowboarding, lessons, and race training. Three lifts and six trails on 350 vertical feet.

Afterschool- a ten week program consisting of one weekly, two and a half hour lessons. The program is run by community volunteers and coordinated through the elementary schools in neighboring towns. A curriculum, training for instructors and lift passes for all participants are provided at an affordable price. Rental skis, boots and poles are also available at a reduced rate.

Ski Tots - a Cochran’s original designed to teach parents how to teach their own child to ski. Directed by Olympic gold medalist Barbara Ann Cochran, this unique program matches a Cochran’s instructor with the parent and child (ages 3 to 5) for a morning of instruction and practice.

Ski Club - a cooperative dedicated to providing race training opportunities to children of all ages and ability. In addition to training and competition, the club engages in a wide variety of related social activities that can be enjoyed by skiers, riders and the whole family.

Weekends & Holiday Weeks: 9:00AM to 4:00PM

Tuesday - Thursday: 3:00PM to 7:15PM 

Fridays: 3:00PM to 8:00PM
