ECHO offers a selection of exciting science, stewardship, and engineering-design themed day camps for children entering 1st to 3rd grade. Led by STEM educators, our program takes full advantage of ECHO’s exhibits and outdoor location next to beautiful Lake Champlain.

"We can easily spend three hours inside, longer if we bring snacks. I have nine year old twins and they love to do any of the handson activities. They like to visit the resource room as well and check out the microscopes and learning materials."

"My sons attended the frog camp over April vacation. They had a great time and came home exhausted. My older son 8 yo said, This was a good camp for kids who like science and if they like to have fun. I'd say that's a pretty good endorsement. The highlight of the two days was Monday afternoon at the aftercare portion where they got to throw mud off the roof and try to hit a target. The staff was really friendly and welcoming. It was well organized. We'll be back!"

"My son enjoyed both days of camp Smash and Shatter, and Blow it Up. He talked extensively about both for days after. He was very proud to show us the items he brought home that he made. Both days were very positive."

"My son attended the Smash Shatter and Blow It Up camps in February 2013 and LOVED them both. He is still talking about it two months later! Science fun! These camps were pricey but worth the experience."
