Elan Academy of Classical Ballet is committed to providing professional training to dancers of all ages in the art of Classical Ballet. The curriculum is designed to train the body at an appropriate pace for the level of experience and age of the student, as well as to educate the student in dance terminology, dance history, and music theory, and to inspire dancers of all ages to master these skills in order to express their own developing artistry.
Elan Academy of Classical Ballet's Artistic Director Alyssa Pettingill brings decades of professional training, performance, and teaching experience to her students, as well as a passion for the studio and the stage.

- August 29, 2014"Our daughter, Hannah, has taken ballet, as well as jazz and musical theater from Alyssa Pettingill for the past four years. During this time her guidance, instruction, and constant desire for perfection from her students has allowed Hannah to grow tremendously both as a dancer and as a performer. Alyssa is also an amazing choreographer, who put together her own arrangement of the Cinderella Ballet for the June, 2014 recital. Furthermore, Alyssa is also very conscientious of her dancer’s readiness to begin dancing on Pointe. She carefully watches each dancer and will not have them start until they are developmentally able to do so.
