Run by Joplin James, a 30 year teacher who is a leader in experiential, nature-based education, and by award-winning children’s book author, Alison James, Enchantment Camps has been delighting and transforming children for a dozen years. Using tools drawn from the sciences to the esoteric arts, the young Wizards learn how to face their fears, challenge their intellectual curiosity, push past boundaries and see true beauty.

She simply thrived in the magical setting, her imagination hard at work with all of the wonderful activities they had prepared. Joplin and Alison created such a magical, nurturing environment and the kids all seemed to be fully engaged in each of the things they had prepared for each day. He is an experienced and somewhat picky camper but his week of enchantment camp far exceeded his desires and expectations. Alison and Joplin create an amazingly magical environment.
