"Easy to get to so bring a chair and a cooler. Very mellow with 1 or 2 places to jump. I like that it's not usually too crowded and there are places to camp in the water."

"Like most swimming holes, there is no parking lot. Simply pull over on the Notchbrook Road and park. There are approximately 15 stone steps down to help you get to the swimming area. Nice flat rocks at the top, under a tree provide a place for your stuff. This is also a great vantage point for jumping off into the one deep spot. If you just want to wade in, you can climb down a little farther to the rocks. Here the stream is more like a pool that is anywhere from approximately 6 inches to 4 feet deep depending on the water flow. There is also a thick tree that has fallen to provide a balance beam type of bridge. As with any swimming hole use caution and check the depth and what rocks lie underneath before you jump."
