"Quiet, gorgeous, remote but not to far away from amenities in Morrisville. This is a perfect canoe to camp sites area that is family friendly. Loons abound and don't miss the wild Iris' in June! Swim, camp, fish, relax with others that are seeking the same scene. You see people and cross water paths with them but it still feels remote and peaceful all the same."

"Green River is an excellent place for a day trip, pack a picnic and bring the canoe. We love to canoe out to one of the points, or the small islands throughout the reservoir, have lunch, go for a swim in one of the many secluded coves and then paddle back to the beach and boat landing. It never feels overly crowded and it is a great place to bird watch, especially if you enjoy watching loons. "
