Vermonters are known for being independent, together. And like Vermont, Hotel Vermont is full of compatible contradictions. Located in downtown Burlington near the shores of Lake Champlain, they're rustic and modern, local and global, natural and sophisticated, hand wrought and high tech. They give you space to yourself and room to gather. And they're here to help you explore like a local, relax like it’s your job, and soak in every detail. From food fresh from the farm to your plate, to the glorious sunsets across the lake and ideas for exploring off the grid, they hope you’ll discover and enjoy our beautiful state as much as they do.

"Hotel Vermont is a lovely downtown location, particularly if you're local and have lots of outoftown guests coming to town. I am a wedding industry professional so I am continually referring my clients to book rooms at Hotel Vermont. In addition, I enjoy grabbing a cocktail and sitting in the lounge of the onsite restaurant Juniper. Great location and amenities. "

"The Hotel Vermont has done a remarkable job of bringing the Vermont landscape into the hotel. It is truly one of a kind. From the reclaimed wood floors, to the slate walls, the flannel blankets, the handmade mugs and the bark pencils, your family is sure to feel right at home in this unique space. They have have also captured the essence of community which is at the very core of a Vermonter's life. Not only have they managed to use locally sourced products in all aspects of the hotel, but they have created spaces that beg for people to gather in a common way. There are oversize ottomans in the lobby, a community table at Juniper, and a fire pit to gather round on the deck. Families will enjoy accommodation choices like king rooms with a twin trundle bed, a queendouble or spring for a spacious one bedroom suite like the one we stayed in, that had ample room for our family of four. This 700 square foot space has a king platform bed, large living room separated from the bedroom with sliding doors a pullout Queen sleepersofa, a kitchenette with wet bar, microwave, refrigerator, and two huge LED TVs. There was plenty of space to add a rollaway with the coziest Vermont patchwork flannel blanket. You wont find bottled water or inroom coffee makers, rather guests enjoy complimentary coffee, tea and other refreshments featuring Vermont producers, that are served at each guestroom floors pantry.
