Hubbard Park
Hubbard Park is a 185 acre park located close to downtown Montpelier. It has roughly 7 miles of hiking and skiing trails, numerous picnic areas, a soccer and ball field, a small pond, a sledding hill, and a 54 foot observation tower.
The park also offers a variety of hills. The gentler and smaller hills are located on the right-hand side of the park, just above the main sledding hill. The main sledding hill is moderately steep but still provides a great ride.

- August 22, 2013"We have been to Hubbard Park a few times. We enjoy parking near the entrance and hiking through the woods to the observation tower though if you want a shorter walk along a gravel path, you have that option, as well. There is a picnic table at the tower, as well as a portapotty. My family loves climbing the tower. The view from the top is beautiful!"- jkg0679
