"This is a wonderfully kept park. Have been coming here for years! Staff is always wonderful and goes out of their way to accommodate customers. Out of all the parks we have been to, this is definitely a favorite! Great beaches, and overall a quiet campground. Will be back again this year!!"

"We have been going to Lake St Catharine for the same weeks for over 30 years. and after seeing the review posted by RealVermonter I felt I should answer this and defend the park. I was there the weeks that are in question when this all supposedly happened and why don't you fill in the whole story. There was an 80 yr old women who needs an electric wheelchairscooter to get around. the battery in it was dead. that's why the small inverter generator was still running. and they didn't run all hours of the day and night this took place in the late morning. As far as young punks terrorizing your Gay friends with their children, no one even knew they were gay so don't try playing that card. and there child goes to school with my kids and even came out into the field and played volleyball with all us young punks as you call it. and it was NEVER said that we get special treatment because we have been there for so long. What was said is They have been here for over 30years and NEVER had an issue. so its funny how after all these years the one time you and your friends come we become low life punks. By the way just to let you know how low life I am. I own two business in Vermont one in Rutland and one in Burlington and looking to buy another in Glensfalls NY. I Deal with customer service with my 30,000 customers from the Mass. boarder to the Canadian Border and into NY and NH. As for a real review it a beautiful state park, why there are things there I miss like the docks and the play ground up near the camping area over all its a very kid friendly place and always have been."

"This was our first time at this Park and it was our last. It would appear that it's run by seasonal employees that are either Castleton State College or Green Mountain College employees and not a on over the age of 25 and it shows in the caring and the running of this park. It also has a unsavory element in the park and is filled with low life people from the surrounding areas.....and it would appear that they run the park and don't follow the rules. Wild parties at all hours of the night along with generators being allowed at any time, day or night. Thank goodness we were only there for a couple of day! We personally witnessed young punks terrorize and harass a gay couple with their children, that they were forced to leave early. They even told me that they said something to the employees and nothing was done because these people have been coming here for years and they deserve special treatment. I would avoid this place!"

"We kicked off the summer season at Lake St. Catherine State Park and enjoyed our Memorial Day holiday there. The grounds had recently suffered from bad weather, but the staff had done a great job getting downed trees and washouts repaired in time for the season. The private camp beach is a nice bonus from the day beach that is open to the public. The playground isn't huge, but we planned ahead to use the open yard spaces for outdoor games. Although the sites are mostly gravel, they are groomed nicely for tent use. The fire pits are usable and safe. Quite hours were enforced by grounds keepers. Bathrooms and showers were clean and well stocked for the busy weekend. Only con, no fault to the park, is that there isn't much in the surrounding area. It was hard to take our family out for an ice cream cone at the end of a hot day, and it was a hike to get to the nearest shops for missing essentials. We will return to LSC again in the years to come! "

"Took my Children here once, it has beauty surronding the water but the beach was really dirty, not much for our kids to do and we didnt see many employees around cleaning up or doing much. Know I am saying we only went once, so unfortunately bad first impression compared to all other Beautiful Sate Parks we have been to in Vermont"

"This is a really popular spot and offers great swimming. We loved picnicing on the grassy hill, playing frisbee, and swimming. It does get a little busy, so if you're meeting a group claim your spot early."
