Mud Pond Country Park
Mud Pond Country Park is 79 acres of pine forest on the opposite side of South Road from Mud Pond Conservation Area. A 2.3 mile loop trail at Mud Pond Country Park was developed as a multiple use trail, meaning that it is suitable for mountain bikers, hikers, skiers, or trail runners. The VAST trail also crosses through this park for winter snowmobile use.
In addition to the rules for park use below, bikers should be aware of the following guidelines:
- Bike use is SEASONAL only, May 1 to November 1, unless otherwise posted
- Riders must wear helmets
- Ride in control, check your speed
- Bikes must yeild to other users: stop or slow down and announce your approach
- Avoid riding on muddy trails
- Pack OUT what you Packed IN - there are no trash facilities
- No Camping or Fires
- No Discharge of Firearms
- No Motorized Vehicles (except snowmobiles on designated VAST trails)
- Dogs must be under Voice Control
- Please Pick Up after your Dog
- Mountain Bikes allowed ONLY on designated trails
- Please Park in Designated Parking Areas
- All Parks and Trails Close at Dusk
