"Despite being in business for over 25 years, we'd only recently heard about Owl's Head. They have a beautiful field of berries. The berries were big and flavorful. They last for a long time. Our jam, pie and pancakes were all delicious! Picking went quick, which was good because our two year old didn't quite have the attention span for picking for a long time. We called around and found the prices comparable to other big farms in the area. We went back and picked twice the berries freeze beautifully and we'll enjoy them into the colder months."

"This is a great spot to bring the kids for blueberry picking. We've gone for both music and nonmusic nights. Choose the music days if you'd like to sing along while picking and you don't mind sharing your row with other eager pickers. Go on a nonmusic day if you prefer quiet contemplation while you pick."

"This is the best way to spend an evening in Vermont in July or August. On Tuesdays and Thursdays they have live music, so you can pick your blueberries to the sound of some great tunes. Make sure you bring a picnic and blanket you and your kids will love it. oh, and I highly recommend it if you have guests in town."

"Grab a blanket, maybe some snacks and refreshments, and spend an hour or two relaxing in a beautiful setting. Watch the mountains turn from green to purple with the sunset, listen to some great local music, and enjoy watching your kids pick berries and play with their friends. Note they frown upon letting your kids get too activeloud, so best behavior is the goal. Also noteworthy no smoking, no tables, no pets and carry inout."
