- August 8, 2011"What a find! My friends and I stopped by Pelkey's for a quick blueberry pick before hitting the CharlotteEssex, NY ferry for an afternoon outing across the lake. The blueberries at Pelkey's were enormous, delicious and plentiful! The berries were bursting from the rows and rows of bushes. Everyone in our group, including seven kids aged 29, received buckets to tie around our waists which made picking even easier. The berries were a perfect snack for our ferry outing and the pie I bought at Pelkey's was a perfect dessert later that night to finish off our active day."- elzywick
