"This sledding hill is so much fun. It is long, wide, and there are a lot of directions to head so even when it's busy you can find a spot. This is such a great hill for all ages not too steep for a 2yearold on a parent's lap and fast enough when the snow is good to entertain teenagers. It's also very walkable from many neighborhoods around the Village in Shelburne, so it makes a great outing to keep kids entertained on snowy days. The only drawback I find is parking if the snow is deep. A warning! The Laplatte parking area is easy to get stuck in with your car. I find parking on the road outside of the parking area on the side is more reliable. I've been stuck there with kids in the car and unable to get out with my minivan."

"We love this sledding hill. It's long, open and easy to get to. You park right at the Shelburne Post Office and it's right in back. It's not very steep, but there are some sections for the more adventurous. No trees to worry about. Perfect for all ages. I like it better than at the Round Church in Richmond because it is a longer hill. Wish we had a free hill like this in Williston."
