"One of the neighbor's daughters goes here. This girl has gained quite a bit of weight over the last two years. She's now 12 and very overweight. When I asked her mom what this pediatrician said about her weight we are good friends, she said that the doctor didn't seem concerned. I find this unconscionable and would never want my children going to a doctor who wouldn't address this issue. Obesity is a major health issue today. He may be nice, as my friend claims, but that doesn't make him a good pediatrician. His failure to address the issue with the girl seems to have been seen as license by her to gain even more weight."

"We love Dr. Paul Parker Nurse Hailey! So glad it's still a small family practice. His attention is outstanding, and he happens to be the nicest man Hailey is gentle and kind and very good at her work. Dr. Elise Parker is great too, she came to the Practice a few years ago no relation. I wish them all the best!"

"Dr. Paul Parker is one of the world's best pediatricians. He is extremely knowledgable, but equally kind. A rare breed of both a capable and compassionate doctor. I feel so lucky we get to have him in our lives in this capacity. "

"I echo the sentiments of the other reviewers THE BEST PEDIATRICIANS AROUND!!! Dr. Parker and Dr. Leonard have always been so helpful and caring. They are the kind of people who would go out of their way to help you. We LOVE them, and would not consider anywhere else."

"Dr Leonard and Parker have done an amazing job with this practice. Always welcoming and so knowledgeable. I found them on a Sunday when no one would return my calls It was actually Dr Parkers wife who we called at home by an accident on day two from the hospitali haven't considered anyone else. They are amazingly committed and the perfect doctors. Supportive even when the world may not agree and truly care about my children. I have never seen a doctor calmly lay a reassuring hand on an infant and take the time to let them feel safe. I recommend this practice for sure. I feel blessed to have found them."

"I cannot adequately express my gratitude and satisfaction for the service that I have received at Richmond Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine. As a mom of a child with medical issues, I am one of those parents that calls all of the time. Many times, one of the doctors has answered the phone. I have always been assured that I have done the right thing by calling. They have always set my mind at ease. Dr. Leonard has called my home at 700 at night to make sure that we were okay on days that we have visited specialists to make sure that we didn't have questions that would keep us up at night. I have had the pleasure of seeing both Dr. Leonard and Dr. Parker and both are warm, caring, and very capable. They have both been extremely supportive of cosleeping, extended breastfeeding, and have not been pushy when we have made the decison to delay a vaccination. I trust both doctors implicity and it is well worth the drive to Richmond."
