Visit this Vermont sugar shack. They have a brand new boiler/evaporator and room to sit and listen to live music on the weekends. There is even a loft above the boiler if you're looking for a warm spot to sit. Indulge in your right to Spring and have a sugar on snow with a donut and pickle! they have free maple cotton candy, samples for tasting, and other maple confections available.

- March 26, 2013"Pulling into the parking lot and seeing the small wooden shack with steam rising from roof tells you that you have arrived at a traditional Vermont Maple Sugarhouse. After a few years of nonuse, the Palmer family has brought the original back to life and expanded. We visited on open house weekend and there was a very energetic bluegrass ensemble performing. It was great to gaze at the new evaporator, eat our sugar on snow and listenwatch as more than a half dozen artists laughed and tried to keep pace with one another. Classic. The kids loved the free cotton candy. We visited several sugar houses today and the kids thought this one was the best."- missmagpie
