"What I liked the most was how accommodating our instructor was to our child's needs. Not only that, but they could figure out why my child had trouble reading and how to help them. As we discovered, she just learned differently and I can't thank the Stern Center enough. "

"Our family had a good experience here. My high school age daughter began to struggle for the first time in school so we took her to Stern for an assessment. She spent a couple of hours with a person who went through a very thorough process with her a combination of interview questions and test exercises to determine her strengths, weaknesses, and learning style. Several weeks later we received a very detailed evaluation of our daughter as a learner. I was very impressed with the process and happy with the result. It allowed us, the anxious parents, to stop worrying if our daughter had an undetected learning disability. As a result of the test we got her some coaching not at Stern to help her with planning and scheduling, and it really helped her get back on top of her school work. I know Stern offers a lot of services, but this is the only one I've used and it was good."
