Located in Colchester behind Costco, Sunny Hollow Park is an extremely popular network for beginner and intermediate riders. Both the Blueberry and East loops are ideal trails for beginners and easy to access. Intermediate and advanced riders can descend into a number of ravines and access further plateaus. Small plateaus and deep ravines allow for beautiful views throughout. The trails are in very close proximity to Burlington and Winooski, making the network a popular choice for after work rides. In recent seasons, Fellowship of the Wheel has built significant retaining walls, bridges, and re-routes to further improve ride-ability and sustainability for all trail users. The Sunny Hollow trails flow through public land—many thanks to the Town of Colchester for their generous access.

"Sunny Hollow is pretty. It has a few streams. The streams are clear. Sunny Hollow is pretty. I felt annoyed because of all of the mosquitoes. There are lots of trails and bridges. A good thing is that there are lots of trees to cover your face from the sun. A drawback is that there are lots of mosquitoes. There are no picnic tables. There is no field to play in. There is no place to climb. Bikes are allowed. There are no restrooms. There are loads of rocks and sticks to play with. There is a few streams. I recommend this place because it is pretty and there are lots of interesting plants. Zander"

"I went to Sunny hallow. I think Sunny Hallow is a good place for a little walk with your dog after school. I believe that because there are some short trails. I think that is good because after school you might not want to take a really long walk. There were tons of mosquitoes. The shooting range was nearby so it was very loud. I got scared by the sounds of the shooting range. But I felt jolly about the sounds of the river. Sunny Hallow has tons of bridges. There are a verity of trails some short some long. Some other good things is bikes are allowed and there are rocks and sticks to take home. Some bad things about Sunny Hollow are there is no field to play in and there are no restrooms also there are no picnic tables to eat on. Sunny hallow is in Colchester. I recommend Sunny hallow! "At Sunny Hollow there are no picnic tables and there is not a field to play in. There is also not a place to climb, something that you can do is bike there. There is also not a rest room there, also there are a lot of rocks and sticks there to find and there are some streams. I felt happy that we got go on the loop trail because I wanted to go on the loop trail. On some trails there are bridges and some of the trails were steep, something that is good is that there are signs of the different trails that you can go on and there is a map by the parking lot. There are also a lot of mosquitoes and there are roots that you can trip on. I recommend this place because it was fun to run on the steep parts of the trails. Danae"

"I feel good about Sunny Hollow because there were little sloped curves. There was sand, slopes, sloped curves for biking, sandy trails, narrow trails and rocky trails. There was not a field to play in. I was very happy. There was no place to climb. I was really okay with that. You can bike there. I was fine with that. You can go to the bathroom in the woods. I did not go in the woods. You can collect rocks and sticks. I would not. I recommend this place because there is a lot of shade if you were hot. I recommend this place because I liked the curved slopes. There is sand. There are a lot of bridges. Clover"

There are a ton of rocks and sticks to collect and build with. There are a few small streams and some bridges. I felt annoyed when I was getting eaten alive by the mosquitoes.
