A casual restaurant in the Mad River Valley. Conveniently located close to Sugarbush Resort where you can enjoy New American cuisine. Offering the freshest ingredients, produced by local farmers whenever possible. Signature cocktails with house-made cordials in the Tavern. A wine list and new micro-brews featuring up and coming brewers from Vermont and elsewhere. The atmosphere is comfortable and unpretentious. Enjoy our comfortable dining room. Eat on our outdoor deck & patio in the warmer months or in the Tavern.
They are open to the public seven nights a week. The restaurant serves food from 4 pm until 10 pm.

- April 5, 2011"The Hyde Away is an easy, quick drive from Sugarbush and is a great option for aprsski, with or without kids in tow. Their website describes the restaurant as comfortable and unpretentious, which is right on. The atmosphere is fairly rustic and while the menu is not fine dining, it had something for everyone I dined with my husband and two children. The staff was very welcoming. The bar area is separate from the dining area, which we appreciated since my kids are pretty young. My kids ordered ice cream for dessert the restaurant ran out but made a quick run to a local store and had ice cream on the table for them 10 minutes later. The only thing I wasn't sure of is their website says they have a kids toy area, which I didn't see... but I also didn't ask!"- 2VTkids
