"Hello all! We finally tried the Swimming Hole with our toddler just recently, in January, and this is what we have to say The water is nice and warm, especially in the kids basin Our son 2.5 years old loved to be able to wade in the basin, and was quite entertained by the water buckets and sprinkling fun to be had. The showers and changing rooms are great. We give this place 3 stars because the facility is great, but the price is quite high for the realistic time that a family with a toddler will spend in the pool. The ratio is over 50 for a 2 hours stay for a family of 3. I wish they would offer half day passes."

"For older kids, the diving board opens at 330 same time as the slide and kiddie pool, and on weekends they bring out a volleyball net and other toys. It's a blast! Day passes are not inexpensive and all the fun stuff shuts down at 6, so it's best to get there as close to 330 as possible."

"AUGUST 2011 We recently visited the swimming hole with some friends who were visiting from outoftown. As usual this we had a great time indoors with kids. However we did learn the hard way that the Swimming Hole has a policy that if it is thundering and lighting out, they will close the pool. It remains closed for half and hour after the last thunderclap. Also, the showers are closed. They really don't want you in or near water despite the fact that they are an indoor facility. We respect their safety rules. It was just a bummer as we had paid the 62 for our family of four to go swimming for the afternoon. It is just a good thing to know if you are planning to go and it is storming outside. Also note that even if you are not swimming as an adult, just watching your kids, you still have to pay the 18 fee to be in the pool area with your kids. AUGUST 2008 This indoor swimming pool is a great place to go on a rainy day or when its cold outside. You don't have to be a member, they do nonmember day rates. They have competitionsized swimming pool with diving board as well as a heated toddler and child swimming pool with water slide inside. The water slide is open daily from 330630. When you are done here, head to the Depot Street Malt Shop for an ice cream treat or milkshake before heading home!"

"The Swimming Hole is completely family, and especially baby friendly. The first splash sessions are great. Kara is a fantastic teacherguide. The kid pool is amazing especially for kids 5 and up. If you are bringing your infant or toddler to swim, I would avoid going while the slide is open as it can get pretty crowded."
