Tour de Playground: A Family Bike Event!

Get ready for a day of sunshine, biking, and serious playground hopping fun! Join us for our Tour de Playground as we cruise along the beautiful Island Line Rail Trail (aka the Burlington Bike Path), stopping at parks and play areas along the way. Whether you ride a balance bike or tow a trailer, this day is all about family adventure, fresh air, and FUN.

The Playground Pit Stops:

10:00am – Blast Off! Starr Farm Park
Check in, say hello, and let the kids burn some energy at this awesome neighborhood playground. We’ll roll out at 10:25am toward our next stop!

10:45am – Quick Pause at Leddy Park 
No play structure here, but a great spot for a water or bathroom break. Want to splash at the beach? Feel free to take a dip and catch up with us later at North Beach.
Ride to next stop: 1.3 miles

11:30am – Picnic & Playtime at North Beach 
Time for our big break! Kids can climb, slide, and swing while families enjoy a bring-your-own picnic lunch and maybe even a swim. We’ll head out at 12:30pm.
Ride to next stop: 1.9 miles

1:15pm – Downtown Fun at Perkins Pier 
This scenic stretch includes the skate park, creemee stops near ECHO, and Waterfront Park. Expect lots of giggles and little detours! We'll regroup at Perkins Pier and play before heading out at 1:45pm.
Ride to next stop: 1.7 miles

2:30pm – Grand Finale at Oakledge Park 
We’ll wrap up our epic day at Oakledge’s fun new playground and shady picnic spots—perfect for one last hurrah!

Early Bird Bonus Route:
Feeling ambitious? Start your ride at 9:00am from Airport Park in Colchester. Cruise through Delta Park and across the Winooski River for a scenic 2.6-mile warm-up ride to Starr Farm Park.
