The Vermont Green Football Club, a new men’s soccer club kicking off its inaugural season in May 2022. They will compete in USL League Two and play our home matches at the University of Vermont’s Virtue Field.
The USL League Two regular season runs from early May to mid-July. Each team plays a 14-match schedule against their divisional opponents, seven at home and seven away.
The playoffs take place in late July, with each conference champion advancing to the national semifinals and the winners of those matches advancing to the League Two Championship in early August.\
They are embarking on an ambitious mission to build a club that embeds environmental justice in its competitive strategy, operational processes, and culture. The Club believes soccer can be a powerful catalyst for a more environmentally sustainable and socially just world.
