  "We have been loving Miss Maggie and her summer classes for the last two years! Not only does she offer a great creative space, she is knowledgeable and fun! My son gets to play and make art in a safe and small group setting. He gets to be himself around a mix of ages and interests while gaining social skills and artistry. Maggie also speaks both English and French with the children so this is a bonus!! I highly recommend these camps at Wingspan! Trust me, you will improve your living room decor once your child brings home their newest canvas or creation!!"

  "My 6-year-old attended a week of art/French camp at Wingspan this summer and absolutely loved it! He was positively glowing after the first day and said on the way home 'I love Wingspan SO much! Can I go there instead of regular school?' In just one week, he thrived and developed a focused appreciation for art and art-making, producing a portfolio of work including painting on canvas, paper mache, and many drawings and paintings. Later in the summer, we were fortunate enough to attend an art workshop where he was able to try mural painting, too. I can't say enough about how enriching the experience was, and recommend it for all kids! We can't wait for next summer to spend more time at magical Wingspan."

She listens and pays attention and really helps people express themselves. She's a great teacher and I could not recommend her studio classes and camps more highly."

  "This is by far the coolest and most fun place to make art in Burlington. Not only do you make awesome crafts, you learn French doing it! I had the utmost pleasure of working beneath Maggie as an apprentice this past year and it was the highlight of my summer. The enthusiasm for art and all things French radiates in this amazing studio. It does not matter how old you are, walking into Maggie’s studio, you will leave with more appreciation, compassion, and love for art. The kids learn to express themselves and be accepted for who they are, learning confidence-building techniques through other academics the program provides such as math or French. The camp days went all too fast having a brilliant fun packed day while also staying centered and focused. This is the best camp you could ever take your child, it’ll undoubtedly leave lasting impressions of a fun summer for anyone."

  "My 5 and 6 year olds attended a week of the French Art camp with Miss Maggie and had a BLAST. It was fun, unique and creative but what the kids enjoyed the most was that they were in a real art studio with real artists. Although the camp officially ended at 11:30 am Maggie was VERY accommodating and helped to arrange aftercare so my kids could stay a bit longer (and I could squeeze in a bit more work!) I highly recommend taking a class or camp at Wingspan!"

  "Hi. I'm a 12 yr old kid who loves these camps. I love everything about them. They're so much fun. I was the one who made up the 'Girl Power' camp for this summer and also there might be a lemonade stand at all of the camps which was my idea too and Ms. Maggie helped me with the idea. Maggie is a great painter and she teaches us to paint and speak French. I love the Imagination Station in the studio and kids can feel free to bring some stuff from home to give to the Imagination Station, a station where kids use their brains and imaginations to make all kinds of stuff.   "My 10 year-old took a 12-week after-school immersion French art class with Maggie. Maggie is kind, patient, and flexible, but firm about keeping the kids focused and not goofing off. The kids made great art pieces and learned French songs and some other basics. She gave suggestions for reinforcing the learning at home as well. Her spoken French is very easy to understand and inspires me to want to re-learn the language myself!"

  "My six-year old son took Madame Maggie's French, Art and Geography class and loved it! I was a bit skeptical at first because the other children in the class were older and spoke fluent French. My son spoke none at all. As it turned out, this was not a problem. Maggie uses the immersion method and is very organic in her approach. She was able to keep each child engaged and challenged. Truly amazing considering their different levels. Plus, they created wonderful art with high-quality materials. One day my son left class with a large and beautifully painted canvas. Many other wonderful projects too. I highly recommend Madame Maggie's classes and camps for introducing your child to French language and culture."

What I like about this camp is they have a manga comic so you know about manga drawing and a manga drawing book which is very helpful at times. I honestly have no negative things about this camp.   "After thirty years of only speaking occasionally when traveling to Montreal, I decided to try French with Madame Maggie. If you are thinking about doing it, I highly recommend you try her class! I took French for 7 years as a young person but never really mastered speaking French freely. I tried the Intermediate class and could not believe my brain resurrected words and phrases. Madame Maggie makes the most comfortable class. I feel no worries about fumbling and mumbling to try and speak. She has also created a great community of really interesting people in the area - my classes have had former and current aid workers, ESL teachers who have taught all over the world, expatriates who speak multiple languages. We took a trip recently to Chambly, QUE together - a guided tour en francais, good food and opportunity to immerse at least for a day. This is a great opportunity and you should try it!"

She has attended camps before. I've picked up a happy smiling girl and by the time we get home, she tells me she hates camp and doesn't want to go back. So imagine my joy when she woke me up on the third morning of French and African Art saying, 'I love camp.' Both of my kids loved it and look forward to some summer camp time spent with Ms. Maggie. I highly recommend any of Maggie's camps. She has a wonderful relaxed way with the kids that offers structure in a free and easy way."

  "As an adult beginning French student, Madame Maggie's classes are just what I need: a relaxed, non-threatening, cooperative atmosphere that helps me to focus on learning a brand new language. Madame Maggie uses sound educational tools to teach the class including handouts, games, and songs. If your interest is basic communication with French speaking people, this is the class for you. I can now travel to Quebec and ask simple questions in shops and restaurants. And I love that Madame Maggie is a stickler for correct pronunciation! The best parts of the class are the time spent laughing and the camaraderie with the other class members. I can highly recommend Madame Maggie's French classes for anyone who wants to learn to speak, read and understand French."

  "I have three children who have attended two of Maggie's summer art camps. They loved it! They came home each day excited to share their treasures and adventures with me. My six year old recounted everything she had learned about genes. My son waved his creation made from recyclables and my eldest daughter showed me her abstract self portrait. There was something for every age group and gender. I got to keep their amazing art work and be content knowing they were learning, exploring and having a blast. Maggie does an excellent job of helping the creative to flourish in a child. I would highly recommend any of her camps."

  "Wingspan Studio is a truly inspiring and magical place! I ADORE the French Class I've been taking with Madame Maggie and am so glad to have found her and Wingspan to re-ignite my French! The format is conducive to meeting each student's learning needs and goals. Maggie uses a variety of teaching modalities to provide interest and accessibility. One enters to French music which creates an amazing ambiance and gets the students in the mood. With a variety of activities throughout the 1 1/2 hour class, time flies by. Maggie's class was incredibly helpful and she gave me the tools and confidence to really pursue my dream.
