Winter Break Youth Pop Up Event @ Winooski Library

Join the Winooski Library for special events during school in-service and winter break!

On Tuesday, February 25th, we will have a fun session of jewelry making. Supplies will be provided, including pony, alphabet, and polymer clay beads as well as embroidery floss. Come make one for yourself and your friends.

On Wednesday, February 26th, we will get to work making and playing in a mighty little cardboard city. Large boxes and kid-safe cutting tools will be provided.

The world was introduced to Pokémon on February 27, 1996. On Thursday, February 27th, youth are invited to the library for a celebration of national Pokémon Day! Activities will include a scavenger hunt with prizes, Pokemon crafts, games, and more.

On Friday, February 28th, we'll get to work building different styles of catapults to launch mini-marshmallows across the Library. We'll learn about kinetic energy and play with different design factors to improve our launch distances.
