Use recycled materials, loose parts, and your wildest imagination to create a mythical creature of your own design. Give your creature a name, decide its species (what are other creatures like it called), and imagine its favorite food – will it munch on starlight or feast on dreams? Share the details with us on an index card, and let us take a picture of your Mythical Creature to share in a library exhibit and/or zine. Available while supplies last at the youth non-fiction table. Recommended for all ages.

June 17-21. Library hours: M, F 9am-8pm. T, TH 9am-6:30pm. Closed June 19 for Juneteenth

"Quaint library with super welcoming and helpful staff. Despite this library being on the smaller side they have a great kids area with thoughtful resources and an easy pick up area for those times you just need to quickly grab learning materials!"

Lots of great activities and selections for all! Kat is the best in the youth department! Brownell Library has done a marvelous job connecting itself to the surrounding community!"
