VSARN's book project introduces Vermont children to books about diversity, equity, and inclusion - with fun activities, discussions, and mentorship from high school students included as part of the read aloud. This summer, we will be touring libraries to read banned books for youth of all ages, from toddler to middle school.
(Designed for ages 2-6+ with an adult caregiver.)
*“VSARN is a nonprofit that is founded and run by students in high school and college. We work to achieve education without racism through education about racism. More specifically, we spend our time creating education policy that supports students, developing anti-racist schools and communities, and building support systems for our youth. - March 24, 2011"My son and I went to a free concert by Jon Gailmor at the SB Library last Sunday and it was great! If you ever get a chance to see him perform, please do. He offers an all ages show ages ranges from 099 and everyone was included and seemed pleased. Between his funny lyrics and audience participation, there is really something for everyone. Thank you SB library!"- justjack
