Bloom Time Festival

Join the Friends of the UVM Horticulture Farm for a celebration of spring! Our annual festival will have tractor rides, Plein Air Painters, music by The Town Hollers, Kids Activities with a scavenger hunt, fairy houses and terrariums to make, an airbrush “tattoo” artist (it’s washable!), gardening information and more. Tour our flowering lilacs, magnolias, and crabapples.

Visit with the Master Gardeners and bring a sample of your soil to their SoilSHOP to be screened for lead. The screening is free at the Bloom Time Festival. Also, our lilac curator, Kitty Werner, will present All About Lilacs—their care, needs, and which varieties bloom first. 

Bring your lunch and have a picnic under the fragrant crabapples. Our Bloom Time Festival is FREE. Join us rain or shine, under the tents at the UVM Horticulture Farm,
