- August 13, 2012"Nice downtown beach in Burlington, but can get extremely crowded in the summer. Their playground is one of the best around though and definitely worth a trip if you need something to do in the spring or fall and are not quite ready to hit the water. Rest roomschanging rooms, a pavilion, snack bar and lots of life guards on duty make this a great place for families, although it can become quite congested. "- paddlekat
- August 13, 2012"We went to North Beach this year because it was so close to our house. The nice part about it is It's flat rate charge per vehicle, not per person like state parks. Plenty of parking even though the beach was packed There's a great playground for the kids Negative part As you get closer to the end of the beach towards the trails, there's more litter, quite a few beer cans, lots of can tabs, some glass. They do rake the beach which is nice, but the pile at the end is definatly an eye sore, with all the rubish and articles of clothing there was a bright pink bra on the heap So, if you'd like to have a great time at this beach stay towards the center of the beach and away from the right end."- rdulude

A nice SANDY beach, a fun playground, food service at the snack bar or they have grills for the bring your own type. Lifeguards on duty. Ample parking. Fee to enter the park is 6."- the d bird
- August 2, 2008"We went to North Beach with our young children and friends and had a great time. The beach is perfect for young and old, having a nice sandy bottom and fairly shallow depth until well out. Convenient snack bar and decent bathrooms with changing areas. Nice picnic areas and a playground for the little ones. Perfect for the family on a sunny day. Parking right in front of the beach is very convenient. For 6 it is a great way to spend the afternoon! Lake temp was perfect."- staubster

It's a great convenient setup, with rentals right on the water, therefore fast and easy to get the boats and vests and get into the water. Plenty of cool stuff to explore on Lake Champlain, especially the shoreline to the north... paddle around the point to find cool rocks cliffs. We landed the boat and got out for some private swimming and jumping off shoreline boulders. Kids loved it, so did I. Next time they can paddle themselves!"- KenM
