Located in the South End, the Burlington Farmers Market is a community and tourist destination event. It is the he perfect place for breatkfast or lunch, and stocking up on fresh produce for the week.

More than 90 stands overflow with seasonal produce, flowers, artisan wares, prepared foods, and more. People gather to wander around, chat with growers and friends, and fill their baskets with some of the best food money can buy.

Like many places in Burlington, dogs are always welcome but must be kept on a leash. They have a wide range of products from farmers selling preserves and fresh vegetables, fruits, fresh meats, cheeses, maple syrup, honey and eggs. They have ethnic foods utilizing local ingredients and we have crafters selling everything from jewelry, handcrafted metal products, pottery and children’s clothing

Open from early May to the end of October.

"This is the best Farmer's Market in the area. So many vendors, delicious food choices. It is amazing. Lots of space for the kids to run around too. We usually give my 3 yo 5 to choose something. His favorite thing to get is lemonade and beef sticks. Wonderful way to spend a Saturday to buy local food."

"What a great way to spend Saturday morning. Go for breakfast or lunch. You can eat your way right through the market. Not only is there so much available to purchase, but there is so much available to eat right there. There are dinky's donuts, Stony Pond Farm organic cheeseburgers, sausages, more pastries than you can imagine, homemade whoopee pies, and the samosa man is there too. My kids look forward to having Rookie's rootbeer floats. There are so many kids running around having a great time. There is always someone playing music or juggling. I always think this is a good place to start the day before doing something else downtown."
