Parking: Yes - Parking lots available on Elm Street and Whittier Hill Road. Parking will also be available on some village roads, but please obey all no parking signs.
The Annual 4th of July celebration in Cabot, started more than 50 years ago, and each year has provided ample opportunity for community-building, celebration and fundraising. Traditional activities include the parade, rummage sale, book sale and open house at the Cabot Historical Society.
The parade, organized by the Cabot Fire Department, includes a lively mix of local traditions, familiar faces, and community creativity!

- Musical performers
- Cabot residents of note …and much much more!
- Bread & Puppet Theater performers, from our friends in Glover
- Work Horses, Show Horses, small ponies & four-legged farm friends!
- Tractors, Vintage Cars, and working farm equipment turned float from surrounding farms!
Rummage Sale
Visit the Cabot School Gym for great finds and community favorites throughout the day.

Items remaining from the rummage sale will be available for free—stop by and take what you can use!
All proceeds from the rummage sale support the Cabot School Activities Fund.
