Parking: Yes - Parking lots available on Elm Street and Whittier Hill Road. Parking will also be available on some village roads, but please obey all no parking signs.

The Annual 4th of July celebration in Cabot, started more than 50 years ago, and each year has provided ample opportunity for community-building, celebration and fundraising. Traditional activities include the parade, rummage sale, book sale and open house at the Cabot Historical Society.

The parade starts at 11 am and runs down Main Street through the village of Cabot. Parade viewers may sit anywhere along the parade route that is not restricted; you are encouraged to bring your own lawn chair.

The parade will include the usual array of entries including the giant puppets, horses, tractors, fire trucks and emergency rigs, musical performers, and more. 

Parade line up starts at 9 am until -10:30 am at the temporary Cabot Volunteer Fire Department. 

In addition to the parade Cabot is hosting the following activities, starting at:

10am - 4pm - Annual rummage sale in the Cabot School Gym

 Friends of the Cabot Library host their annual book sale and food vendors and village businesses will be open

The Cabot Historical Society will be open.

Following the parade until 2 pm on the Cabot Common:

Family activities and inflatables, a variety of food vendors and live music.
