Cellocha: A Program for Cellists

Suzanne Smith starts cello students as early as 5 years old and will also offer a weekly group class teaching beginning improvisation, creativity pathways, and technique for young beginners.

Cellochan was created in Ann Arbor, MI. in 1995 and was comprised of 30 families in 2015. She has recently moved to Moretown to be near family. Suzanne has 30 years of teaching experience. She is a dedicated mentor and highly skilled performer with an undergraduate degree from Oberlin Conservatory and Masters in Music from the State University of New York, under Bernard Greenhouse. Her students have included future professionals, amatuers, and those who are simply drawn to the cello.
