Don’t miss Circus Smirkus, Vermont’s award-winning, traveling youth circus, where kids – ages 11 to 18 – are the stars, featured in aerial acts, acrobatics, clowning, juggling and so much more! Step into a world of whimsy and wonder, as Circus Smirkus celebrates playfulness, discovery, and childlike curiosity with the 2024 Big Top Tour: The Imaginarium. A magical toy shop comes to life with tumbling teddy bears, high-flying marionettes, and a very mischievous Jack-in-the-Box, in this awe-inspiring and laughter-filled production. The shows run approximately 2 hours and includes an intermission. All shows are accessible to those with disabilities. Tickets are available now at smirkus.org.

The tickets didn't cost much (compared to other events) and the performers were all children/teens, so maybe I didn't expect much. I was very pleasantly surprised! The performers were talented, enthusiastic, energetic and a pleasure to watch. The big top was very small and intimate so it's a great circus to bring kids to. - August 31, 2009"Take your kids to see Circus Smirkus! We brought our 3-year-old girl and our 6-year-old boy and they just loved it. Only complaint was that the sound system was a little too loud - more than once - but we just covered the kids' ears. The acrobats were amazing, the jugglers awe-inspiring, the skits really funny, makeup and costumes perfect. The showmanship and energy of the performers is infectious! - March 12, 2008"Not only is this a great show for everyone, we were amazed at the talent and performances of these kids! Amazing. They are so passionate and it shows. Seating can be tight inside the tent so get there early to get a good seat. There are the typical fair/festival refreshments and snacks available before you go in. Note: on warm days it can get pretty hot in the tent so bring some water."- ceb
