"This ice skating rink was nice when I was growing up, but not anymore. Sure there are minor things like old rental skates with no skate blades and a run down snack bar but the bathrooms will make you run. The halls outside the bathrooms and the restrooms themselves smell like mold! Countless times I and others have said things to management and employees and nothing is done. Such a disappointment!"

"I love Leddy Park Arena! It's reminiscent of skating rinks when I was a kid. I have taken lessons there-small group lessons for beginners that were wonderful. I also bring kids there I work with in the community for winter time fun. Last time I was there, in October, the employee who helped us with gear was awesome and we enjoyed the rink and the music. The crates are appreciated too for those learning :) One thing to note, and perhaps there is some way to deal with this, was the proximity of super fast skaters. I had some super beginners" with me and other much more advanced skaters were whizzing about a bit too close for comfort! Perhaps there are hours for super beginners or the itsy bitsy rink?! Overall a wonderful experience!"

"We held a birthday party there and it was great! They provide a room for presents and cake for one hour and the small ice rink for one hour. The price was average for birthday event rentals."

"The Itty Bitty Public Skate is a great place for kids to learn. The first time I went, I brought my 2.5yr twins and 1yr baby. The baby went on a sled and the twins pushed crates around on the ice. It was fun for all!"

"My daughter is a member of the VT Children's Theater on Ice in the Taste of Theater group, which is an introduction to theater on ice. Leddy Arena is the home for the VT Children's Theater. The management at Leddy is completely engaged in the activities. They organize several shows throughout the year and keep us all informed of opportunities from extra skating time to fun events going on at the Arena via email. Every season I'm more & more impressed by the quality of the program and the commitment of the staff at Leddy as well as the highly skilled instructors. Their focus on training and providing a nurturing environment for our kids to learn and excel is incredible!"
