- February 9, 2015"This is one of my happy places. Been going here for years with the kids. Beautiful setting, really relaxed owners and staff, delicious apples, and yummy cider donuts and other food to eat sometimes. They also host great events like a pie baking contest and a local food event. They have a big tire swing too. Charming, quaint, very Vermonty"- kfox

- September 25, 2011"We love Shelburne Orchards not only for their great apples, but for the many extras they offer. There is a store Cider House Farm Market that sells fresh cider donuts, apple cider, honey, syrup, pies and more. There is a small cafe that sells soup, hotcold cider, pie slices and a few other treats. Plus it seems like every other weekend or so there is always a great event going on at the orchard. You will also find a rope swing and some hay bales that are loosely shaped like a hay maze for kids to play on. This is a picture perfect place to spend a fall afternoon with the family. - October 4, 2010"A mustdo in the fall with kids and family. What an amazing settingobviously gorgeous apple orchards with more than enough apples to choose from if you time it right. My 19 mo old had the most fun just running through the orchards picking apples off the groundwe ended up taking home 26lbs of apples! She wasn't quite old enough for the big swing off a large tree behind the Orchard Cafe, but we will definitely hit that up next year. A great way to spend a sunny afternoonmake sure to leave room for some doughnuts and cider!!"- nini
- September 24, 2010"You just can't ask for a better place to go pick apples in VT. The drive there is beautiful and everyone at the orchard is so nice. We ended up going 2x this week and plan on a couple more times before the season is over. The apples are huge and delicious no pun intended. I pick for home and for my diner. Get out and go, you won't regret it."- earl handy
