Details
Cost: For museum admission, we ask for a donation of $5 per individual, or $15 for a family. If you don’t have the means to donate, we still welcome you to visit and enjoy the museum.

Join us for a special fairy house builder meet-up and makerspace at the Nature Museum. Whether you're curious about fairy house building or a seasoned expert, join us to meet other builders, find some inspirations, and learn more about how to be an official builder for the upcoming Fairy House Festival. Come speak with staff, connect with other builders, and explore the magical possibilities of this activity!
We’ll have sample fairy houses and a makerspace with some materials to add to your existing fairy house, start a new one, or simply practice, create and tinker. We encourage participants to bring some natural materials to contribute, or be ready to forage in the fields, garden, and forest of The Nature Museum grounds.
We welcome donations of fairy house building materials to be used at the Fairy House Festival on September 27th & 28th! Check out our Fairy House Building Guide for some tips on building, and a list of accepted Building Materials.
