Fairy House Festival @ The Nature Museum

Walk the forested fairy house trail, make your own fairy houses, enjoy face painting, music, bubbles, crafts, food, local vendors, and more, all in celebration of the relationship between nature and creativity.

The Fairy House Festival is The Nature Museum's annual fundraiser and draws visitors to Grafton each September for a magical fall tradition. Over 70 Volunteers create a fairyland of small structures built out of natural materials, building an enchanted village through the woods and opening a portal to the incredible world around us.

The funds raised at the Fairy House Festival go to support our natural science programs in schools and libraries, wilderness days for tweens, wild foods workshops, summer camps for kids, mushroom talks, birding walks, and so much more. This event helps keep The Nature Museum thriving!

Schedule and Activities for Sept 26th and 27th

• The Longshanks: Stilt Walkers & Storytellers, with storytelling at 11am and 2pm each day at the Tulip Tree Garden Stage.

• NEW this year - Nature Quest: Can you complete the scavenger hunt and become a Knight of the Fairy Royal Court? Knighting ceremony at 1pm and 3pm each day.
