"Lots of beautiful tress! Helpful staff and very well organized. It was a busy day when we went and their well oiled machine had our tree shaken, wrapped, drilled we bought a self balancing stand from them amazing, and in my truck in minutes. "

"Visited on a Thursday evening which I believe is better than the weekend rush. The man at the bailer gave us great advice where to go based on the type of tree we wanted. He even told us the different varieties and the proscons to each. We drove in they have sleds too to carry the tree back and were on our way. Once we found the perfect tree and there were many to choose from, the bailer sawed off my imperfect cut so it was square and keep the tree straight in the stand. We walked inside to pay and were greeted with free hot chocolate and a candy cane. Very nice. Merry Christmas everyone!"

"Last year was our first Christmas in VT. We were told that White's was the place to go. They were right freedom to roam about and find the perfect tree and there are SO many, hot chocolate for the kiddos, and a cute gift shop the bird houses in particular caught my eye for gifts. It was a wonderful experience and we're going back ASAP this year it's a shame we haven't been yet!"

"Whites is absolutely AMAZING! We went for our first time this year and will never go anywhere else! There are so many trees to choose from and they are all beautiful! We pulled in and they asked us if we needed to borrow a saw which we did it was nice and sharp and asked us if we had any other questions. You can drive up and down the rows of Christmas trees if you don't want to walk. If you walk, they have a truck that will come around and pick up your tree for you so you don't have to walk all the way back. Once you've found your tree they offer a free shake and net. They have a cool machine that stands the tree upright and gives it a light shake to get any loose needles out and then the wrapped it up for us in the net. You pay inside a cute little shop that offers VT goodies such as maple syrup, souvenirs, etc. Our tree cost 45 and came with a free hot coca and candy candy for each of us. For photo lovers, there's a cute wooden sleigh and wooden reindeer for kids to climb and take pictures on. I also appreciate the Christmas music playing outside. On the way out we showed our receipt and gave our saw back. The gentleman checking receipts also double checked out tie job and ensured us we'd make it back home this was great since we were newbies to tying a tree on top of our little car. Everyone was so pleasant and helpful. You truly pay for an amazing tree and wonderful holiday experience here."

"Wasn't thrilled with this place considering all the reviews. It is seriously a cluster jam for parking and getting in and out. There was no direction on how to buy the tree, Etc. We got so frustrated with our daughter we left and purchased our tree and supported a local cause instead."

"I am relatively new to the area and last year was the first time I went to Whites. I have a job where I meet people from all over northwest VT and without pause, every person told me to go to White's for my tree. I had the very best experience. I met their sweet old dog and had a wonderful chat with the owners. They were so kind. Their tree selection was excellent. My tree lasted until well after Christmas. I'm a little late in getting my tree this year, but will be at White's tomorrow. I am sure it will be as fabulous as it was last year and from what I've been told, as fabulous as many years gone by. "Boy, some people just love to complain! I had to post this review to offset the most recent poor one below. We have been going here EVERY year for 5 years now and we just got a lovely tree this past weekend. We cut out own, paid the same price as in the past, and had a wonderful family experience. I guess if you want a gigantic tree, you have to go with the precut but most normal people will find a great tree and go home happy! Love this place and will continue to get our tree here in the future."

"Don't go here! They use to have trees to cut, they stopped planting a few years ago. They put A lot of money in their new building sales went up. No trees to cut over 6' 12 ft. So they bring in pre cuts that were cut in PA weeks ago. Owner's Response November 30, 2013 As the owner of Whites tree farm I would like to respond to the review from Christmas Kid. On the same day they wereat our farm maybe 1000 other families were there that seem to have had a really good time. All Tree farms in our region are small farms that strive to make a good family experience. That night we still had many larger 8 and 9 foot trees in an area that could only be seen by walking a little, once cut it will take about 10 years to regrow each tree. For many families 6 to 7 foot trees is the size they want. We plant trees every year, and grow about 55k trees, this year mother nature killed most young trees and many older trees, which hurt us badly and will take a few years to recover from if mother nature cooperates. Our 2nd farm will open in 2015. When we run out of field trees Which we will again this year we try to help families find other farms to cut at, we also bring in precut trees from friends farms. We do not buy trees out of our region, although there is nothing wrong with PA and NC trees we choose to buy trees grown in our northern region from members of the VTNH Christmas tree assoc. who grow some really nice trees. I visit the farms, pick out the trees, and work with them to get trees cut and delivered late in the season. Bob White, Owner Whites Christmas Tree Farm"

"This year 2012 Whites' is not offering cutyourown trees! We went there based upon all the great reviews, but were told that the they are only offering precut trees this year, brought in from another local farm. Just a mile or so away we found another cutyourown place, Christmas Tress for Cancer. Great trees I believe they are all Frazier Fir, great price 30, very friendly and helpful. They had saws, sleds, etc and helped get the tree ob the car. All proceeds go to cancer research support. When leaving White's, turn right on Rt 15 and you'll start seeing homemade signs for Christmas Trees for Cancer."

"We have been going to White's for the past 6 years. Even though the trees seemed smaller this year, we still enjoyed ourselves. The tree shaker that shakes off the dead needles is one of the highlights for our kids!"

"We loved going to White's when we still lived in Chittenden county. They provided us with a saw and sled when we arrived and when we brought our tree to pay they shake out the bugs and loose needles. The. If you would like they will bail it and help tie it to your car. We had a difficult time finding a replacement once we moved away. "

"This is my favorite tree farm to go to. Our family has been going to White's for years and hopefully for many more years to come. There are so many good looking trees of all different sizes to fit you! Once you have your tree picked and cut, you can drive to get it or carry it on a provided sled. Bring it to the front and they put it into a shaker and then net it up for you. If you need help tying it to your car, someone is right there to help you with that. Inside, there are free candy canes and hot chocolate. The trees are now 34."

"We had a really great time when we went to White's to cut down our own tree. There were so many trees to choose from that we wandered around the farm for a long time! There was someone that helped direct for parking we went on a busy Saturday and that same person helped get our cut and netted tree up on our car!! The prices were fair and the service was great!!"

"The best tree farm I've ever been to! They have a fabulous selection of trees and the staff is so friendly and helpful! They offer free candy canes and hot chocolate which the kids love. They shake your tree for you to get all the loose needles out and then wrap it for you and the prices are extremely reasonable! We've gone there for the last 3 years and will never go anyplace else now that we've found them!"

"Our family tradition for the past 4 years has been to go to White's and cut down our Christmas tree. We all look forward to it every year. Lots of beautiful trees and very convenient to drive your car so close. Each year we've gone it's been on a beautiful day! Great views of Mt. Mansfield. Last year we even went and played by the river in the way back of the farm! Highly recommended."
