Smuggler's Notch Ski & Snowboard Club will be onsite to help run our Friday Night Lollipop Races!
Sounds kind of official - but this is for ALL of our skiers and snowboarders - all levels. The course will be very user-friendly with some arches to go under and a tiny jump (bump) at the end. The race will be dye-marked (just like the Olympics) and VERY user-friendly.
The evening is FREE, we ask if you'd like to participate to please pre-register at the link below. Even though there is no fee, please click through the "no payment" to confirm the registration.
SNSC members will be on hand to help with the rope tow, to get kids set up in the start gate, and a few of their aerial athletes will do some tricks on our jump. SNSC is supplying race bibs for the event.
Skiers & Riders will check in at the registration table to get their bib and start order. SNSC member Rob Montgomery will be MC for the night. Kids will be announced on the course. All participants will receive a medal and a lollipop!
And if all of this wonderful stuff wasn't enough....WPTZ will be broadcasting live from Hard'ack so your skier or rider may get some television exposure!
Wait ...there's more?! We've got Vuvuzela Horns to pass out to spectators!
It's going to be a real Olympic Moment right here in St. Albans. Lodge and Snack bar will be open as well.
Come join the fun and don't forget to register! https://stalbansvt.myrec.com/.../program_details.aspx...

- September 15, 2015"I had always seen this place from the highway and finally took my dogs this morning. What a wonderful place to hike or just walk leisurely. Well groomed trails crisscross throughout the mountain so there is both sun and shade. Dogs loved it! I loved it! And THANK YOU to Hard'ack Recreation people who maintain it."- painterpat

- January 18, 2009"What a great place to enjoy all of your favorite winter activities. Whether the little ones want to slide down some of the small bumpy hills, your teens watch or partake in some of the impromptu rail jam competitions, or momdad take a fast and furious run down the sledding hill, there is something for everyone. The hills are groomed to perfection and there is even snow making! And when everyone needs a break, just jump into the warming hut for some hot chocolate 75 cents or warm snacks like a hot dog 1.50. And if you forget some hand warmers they have them too. This is a great way to spend a few hours with the family and enjoy the outdoors in the winter. Access to Hard'Ack is free, but they sure do appreciate donations to keep this northern Vermont gem alive and kickin'."- missmagpie
