Goodrich's Maple Farm features a unique post & beam sugarhouse with some of the most innovative evaporation equipment found anywhere! Free tours include a historical explanation of the maple process, antique equipment displays. Learn the entire maple sugaring process and see one of the world's largest maple sap evaporators! Enjoy sampling our maple syrup, maple spread & home made jelly at their taster's table.
Sugar on Snow Parties (March & April)
A delightful Vermont treat - Syrup is cooked to 231 degrees and immediately poured onto snow. The Syrup quickly turns into a waxy taffy that is a pure delight!
Directions
From I-89:
- Get off exit 8 at Montpelier
- Turn right onto US Rte 2 EAST for 25 miles (30 minutes)
- 5 miles past the village of Marshfield.
- Located on the right side of the highway
- Watch for signs and a large boulder with a huge orange maple leaf painted on it.
